Have you ever wondered what decks and cards are used in tournaments in Pokémon TCG's homeland? The official decks for the top four Japanese players, selected based on their 2021 performance, were recently released. The decks also feature some cards from the recently released Dark Phantasma booster in Japan.
In this series of articles, we’ll take a look at the officially recommended decks for the top four Japanese Pokémon TCG players, one deck in each article.
The four heavenly kings
Named four heavenly kings, one of the official ranks in Pokémon TCG. As the name suggests, four players will be selected, three based on their annual performance and a fourth in an official tournament at the end of the year.

We can find quite a lot of the new Dark Phantasma booster in the deck, including Hisuian Zoroark VSTAR, V and Gengar cards. Four Boss's Order cards have also been placed so that we can aggressively attack our opponent's benched Pokémon.

Diancie It’s important to protect our Hisuian Zoroark V card, so Diancie’s ability will come in handy: If your opponent also wants to use the Boss's Orders supporter card, we can defend with this card. (If this card is in the active slot, the opponent's support cards will not affect our benched cards) |

Gapejaw bog Together with Hisuian Zoroark's VSTAR Curly Chop ability, it can be used to deal damage to a Basic card from the opponent's bench. With two colorless energy cards we can damage up to 300! |
